Our client, a prominent, full-service advertising agency is seeking a Studio Coordinator on a freelance to potential full-time basis.
As the Studio Coordinator, you will work with project managers and production artists to oversee the production process including managing project budgets, timelines and creative deliverables.
Projects you will work on can range from direct mail, point of sale and point of purchase, displays and print ads to web banners and packaging. The bulk of this position will focus on Shopper Marketing.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating production timelines, schedules and provide briefings and production direction, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met
- Checking that all projects have been proofread and that production specifications have been met
- Providing direction on releasing mechanicals using various delivery methods including traditional, automated and web-based to vendors and publications
- Tracking budgets (real versus estimated costs) and communicate any variables to all appropriate departments.
- Assisting in mount room tasks
You should have:
- 2
years of experience in a related field, in an agency setting
- Tremendous written and verbal communication skills with an ability to foster internal relationships at all levels, across departments
- A basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to work as long as the project takes and understand that late hours may be required on occasion

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
