Analytics Manager - Marketing Campaigns
For Int'l Market Research Firm - Chicago
Must be US Citizen, PR or Green Card Holder
Reports to Director
This is a new position due to growth
Absolute must have's - at least 4 years of corporate analytic experience designing and evaluating effective marketing campaigns, developing customer segmentations and creating predictive models. Expert SAS programming skills are essential. Proven experience writing SQL code to extract data directly from back-end relational database such as Netezza, Red Brick, Oracle, etc. Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Math, Economics or other quantitative oriented field (Decision Sciences, etc.) is required.
Responsibilities:
Think strategically about challenges being faced by brands and mine extensive databases to create value added insights and recommendations which drive incremental programming.
Design efficient & effective campaigns which maximize ROI for the client. Educate Sales partners and provide guidance on analytics best practices for program design and measurement
Perform simple to complex data analysis as required to meet the client's analytical needs.
Develop & deliver simple, impactful presentations which demonstrate value to the client.
Work with Sales partners to build strong, collaborative relationships with client's Brand Management and Market Research teams. This role supports both internal Sales and their external client base.
Work with corporate staff to define the scope and objectives of ad hoc analysis. .
Qualifications:
See must have's
Master's degree in Statistics or equivalent experience a strong plus
Ability to demonstrate a command of quantitative methods and statistical applications
Experience in the design and analysis of controlled experiments
Ability to rapidly develop sufficient familiarity with proprietary data systems and IT infrastructure to extract data needed to support quantitative research projects
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Background Ck and drug screening conducted
