Our client is seeking a skilled and highly experienced Sr. Director of Financial Aid with multi-location oversight with a hands on managerial style and a strong ability to take initiative to lead a growing institution in all matters related to Student Finance.
Responsibilities

As the Sr. Director of Financial Aid you will direct the overall effort for the student finance department, providing strategic guidance on program requirements, budgeting, compliance and monitoring of financial aid including the following duties:
Facilitates training programs for all Financial Aid personnel.
Administers federal and state financial aid programs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Facilitates training for staff regarding Federal Title IV regulations, new policies and procedures and applicable law and regulations.
Experienced with selecting and implementing student information systems
Takes initiative in handling all matters related to the betterment of financial aid processing and procedures
Coordinates the implementation of new policies and procedures.
Assists in hiring, firing and training of financial aid directors and officers.
Ensures the accuracy of student financial aid packaging.
Provides overall strategy and guidance to staff and student population with regards to the financial aid process, special needs and customer service throughout this process.
Acts as liaison between campus presidents and other operational departments representing the Student Finance Department.
Qualifications

Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.

years prior experience in a private postsecondary institution in a financial management role as Director of Financial Aid or other related experience in operational or administrative positions within higher education with extensive experience and knowledge of Title IV funds
Exceptional organizational, supervisory and analytical skills.
Knowledge of principles, practices, methodology, and procedures for the provision of student financial aid.
Exceptional project management skills as it relates to managing projects to a budget, problem solving and meeting deadlines and overall fiscal responsibility for the department.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
