Hands on development and maintenance of Commodities Front Office applications and infrastructure.
Close interaction with management and IT teams. Designing, developing and deploying solutions.
Develop a firm understanding of the Commodities market place.
Build a clear understanding of a Trade Life Cycle in the Commodities marketplace.
Work closely with technology teams contributing and reusing, sharing solutions.
Build expertise to liaise with Analyst and Business users to devise high impact systems.

Key Skills and Competency:
5
years of software development experience. Commodities experience a plus.
Good communication skills.
Self-starter and ability to deliver effective solutions with minimum over-sight.
Agile developer who would adapt to fluid requirements and build flexible systems that can grow.
Demonstrable ability to challenge the status quo.
Excellent C+
or python.
Strong knowledge of multi-threading, distributed/grid computing.
Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
Good development rigor: unit testing, source code control, coding standards, code reviews, and resource and time management skills.
Knowledge of ICE, Sybase, boost, MS SQL Server hdf5 highly beneficial.
Exposure to C# and .NET GUI development a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
