Reports to Director of Marketing Analytics
This is a ground floor oppty - new position due to growth. This role will have high visibility to senior mgmt and be given the opportunity for a management career track.
Absolute must have's - at least three years of B2B data modeling, analysis and qualitative insights in a CPG, retail or hospitality industry vertical. Analytic method proficiency in ad-hoc analysis, experimental design (test vs control) plus, regression, segmentation, decision trees, clustering, forecasting/time series analysis and predictive modeling; SAS or SPSS and SQL are essential. Bachelor's degree in Statistics or other quant oriented field required.
Responsibilities
Measure and provide strategic insights on retail member behavior and marketing effective analytics.
Extract and organize data to determine demographics, spending, loyalty and digital collateral to drive strategy
Evaluate historical trends, develop models to be leveraged, deliver routine reports/analytics and help make informed decisions to drive the business forward.
Work with huge and varied datasets to bring data together to answer business questions while gaining support from other cross functional teams.
Qualifications
See must have's
SME in data manipulation and development and maintenance of data models, accessibility and quality, and aligning data elements with business needs
Broad marketing experience in a company driven by analytics.
SQL, SAS, SPSS, UNICA, Micro Strategy & Cognos and Excel in manipulating data and delivering reports.
Third party data integrations, Store Level Analysis, Quantitative and Qualitative Research development and insights, data modeling Market research, A/B testing and RFM experience are a plus.
