The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Procurement Dept. in the areas of supplier relations, policies and procedures, systems, project and program management, data management and presentations. In this role you will get the opportunity to interact with procurement and warehousing teams, suppliers, internal functions, and external customers. This is a very solid medium sized company expecting some good growth in the near future. Strong benefits, competitive pay ($50-55K) and a nice annual bonus (10%).
Seeking at least a BS Degree and 1
year applicable experience in Procurement or equivalent business experience in a mid-sized or large organization.
- Background in business, legal and company operations
- Procurement, or Supply Chain certification
- Demonstrate ability to use Sharepoint
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Strong mathematical and financial analysis skills
- Proficiency with MS Office - Outlook calendar/mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to interpret and manipulate spreadsheet data for reporting
