# Job Description
Integrys Business Support, a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, is currently recruiting for an Associate Tax Analyst/Tax Analyst for our office in either Green Bay, WI or Chicago, IL. This position reports to the Supervisor - Income Tax.
Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance - Gather data and complete tax compliance requirements for assigned companies within the Integrys group. Work as a team with Associates, Specialists, and Interns to complete assignments. Look for opportunities to improve and expedite the tax return filing process and keeps supervisor informed regarding status and potential problems
Accounting for Tax Compliance - Gather data and complete monthly G/L accounting closing duties for assigned companies within the Integrys group
Tax Analysis - Complete analysis templates that support and explain compliance and accounting results. Provide results to the Tax Supervisor
Tax Research - Research necessary issues in order to complete compliance requirements accurately and consistently with currently enacted tax law. Communicate verbally and written basic tax concepts/issues to supervisor
Title: Associate Tax Analyst or Tax Analyst
Minimum
Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
1
year exposure to corporate taxation in at least one assigned specialty area (i.e., income tax, other tax, or property and plant related)
1
year exposure to accounting for income taxes or qualitative and quantitative tax analysis
Successful candidates may be considered for the Tax Analyst position if they meet the minimum qualifications as well as the following:
3
years of experience in corporate taxation with knowledge in at least one assigned specialty area (i.e., income tax, other tax, or property and plant related)
3
years of experience with accounting for income taxes or qualitative and quantitative tax analysis
Preferred
Qualifications: - Master's degree (MST, JD or LLM)
Certified Public Accountant
Certified Management Accountant
Experience with general accounting or audit
Experience in a large corporate tax department, law firm or Big 4 public accounting firm
Experience in a regulated environment
