Summary
The Quality Control Specialist II (QCS II) must have exceptional attention to detail skills and follow-up skills, and consistently maintain a positive attitude. The QCS II must be a team player who is supportive of management and Bank policies. Employees in this position may be required to perform review functions, file maintenance functions and filing functions depending on the needs of the department manager, team leader or lender. QCS II is considered the critical link between the Bank, Lenders and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Has an awareness of general banking services and is able to fully understand the data system and documents required for each loan product.
Responsible for preparing new loan files and filing all documents received after boarding.
Maintains tracking system for receiving original and recorded loan documents.
Processes mortgage releases and UCC-3 terminations for loans that have been paid in full in accordance with proper officer approval.
Maintains paid-in-full collateral files via data base. Sends files to closed storage facility.
Updates insurance policies on Custom Lender.
Has an understanding of Consumer Loan Documents in order to perform quality reviews.
Understands costs associated with recording documents in order to pay various counties for their services.
Understands tickler system and inputs/changes/deletes ticklers as necessary.
Fulfills requests for documents and files, submits collateral documents for perfecting our lien/recordation, creates collateral files and maintains existing collateral files.
Processesloan documentation email and fax prompt quality service to all Lenders/Administrative staff within acceptable time limits. Assists with handling customer complaints and follows up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
Processes maintenance changes as needed.
Operate network computers/software, and other equipment necessary to handle transactions.
Responsible for scanning and imaging various Loan Documents such asLaserPro, attorney prepared and Indirect Lending documents.
Distributes department mail.
May be required to work some Saturdays for special projects that may arise.
As part of the department team, ensures individual and department goals are met.
Complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
