Human Resource Manager
We are seeking a talented HR Manager to manage our HR function for the US, and will be based in our Chicago office. You will be responsible for all human resource related functions including culture development, recruiting, compensation and benefits, performance measurement, and team building. You will manage and maintain all HR policies, procedures and programs. We're looking for someone to closely partner with senior staff members to manage the day-to-day operations in the office.
Responsibilities:
Serve as coach and consultant in identifying, analyzing and resolving human resources and organizational issues.
Manage employee-relations casework and support managers on all employee-relations matters, conducting meetings, interpreting and advising on complex employment law matters, terms and conditions and policies and procedures.
Implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with State and Federal regulations.
Manage recruiting to pace with growing headcount including, creating job descriptions, sourcing screening, testing and onboarding.
Make recommendations on benefits offering, manage open enrollment, and ongoing benefits administration
Manage worker's compensation insurance issues, including making recommendations to facilitate the timely closing of claims
Administer multi-state payroll
Support Performance Evaluation process.
Manage time and attendance program
Maintain all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy and related requirements
Assists in evaluation of reports, and results of the department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of operations.
Ad hoc project work and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
HR generalist with formal corporate experience leading HR and Recruitment. Experience with a PEO or staffing company a plus
Familiarity with legal/compliance requirements of an hourly and temporary workforce in multi-state environment
Excellent recruitment skills and resources
Experience developing and administering benefits plans, HR policies, organizational structures and training programs
Experience executing compensation and incentive programs that reward and retain top talent
Advanced knowledge of current labor laws and regulations
Advanced knowledge of benefits programs, providers and best practices (healthcare, 401k, transit checks, etc.)
4-year degree from top institution

years experience in HR administration, recruiting, benefits administration, and/or organizational development

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
