Summary:
This position is responsible for planning all production activities in each department while managing resources in the most efficient manner
Primary
Responsibilities:
Incumbents responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Take schedule sheets from Customer Service and enter the items into the schedule and the appropriate work center. Schedule plate making.
Schedule material allocations.
Schedule preventive maintenance for all folding machine and presses.
Work with prepress to help effectively schedule work in process.
Interface with purchasing to ensure material availability to meet production schedule in the most efficient manner.
Provide weekly production schedules for all machine centers and update as needed, notify CSRs of any changes or interruptions in meeting their dates.
Provide an estimated time of completion to CSRs on jobs in jeopardy.
Work in collaboration with the supervisors, managers, and subordinates to assure the plant achieves its objective for quality, on time delivery, safety ,innovation, profitability, and total customer satisfaction.
Daily updates on press, and folders -production.
Lead CSR daily production meeting.
Daily coordination with Press and Production Managers.
Track monthly sales.
Provide Director of Operations with daily and weekly sales.
Create sales projections from the anticipated sales report.
Develop pull strategy for additional sales.
Create sales report for the management team.
Schedule customer orders in a timely manner.
Schedule and provide production plans for product launches.
Create new trays and cartons upon request.
Purchasing.
Minimum
Qualifications:
This position requires: High School Diploma or equivalent .Proficiency with MS Word and Excel required. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, stand, walk, sit, type, touch and feel instruments and controls. The employee must regularly visually inspect invoices, financial reports, computer screens, spreadsheets and other work documents. The employee must regularly use the telephone, e-mail and facsimile machines in the regular conduct of duties. The employee must also occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment:
The employee performs these duties in both an office and manufacturing environment.
