Nurse Educator for Maternal Child/Labor & Delivery
We are seeking a Nurse Educator for Maternal Child and Labor & Delivery for our community hospital. The Education Nurse Candidate must be a clinically competent practitioner grounded in the principles of evidence based practice and shared governance. The candidate demonstrates complex decision-making skills, problem solving ability and knowledge of adult learning principles.
Responsibilities include the ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of educational initiatives that contribute toward the development of a Learning Environment.
The Nurse Educator elevates the standard of professional nursing by coaching and mentoring the staff to become accomplished Nurses within Maternal Child and L & D.
In addition to this, the Nurse Educator should be able to lead and direct a staff development function which ensures appropriate learning opportunities and to provide leadership in projects and workgroups for the achievement of organizational goals. Reports to the Director of Education Services.
Job Requirements MINIMUM Education:
BSN or Masters in related Healthcare field.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE BASE: Minimum two to four years educational design/development and training experience with in Maternal Child and Labor & Delivery. Strong knowledge of learning design, instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles, adult learning and blended learning theory and strategies. Demonstrated ability to design and develop training and learning programs to support strategic business goals. Demonstrated expertise in performance consulting methods, change management practices and processes, emotional intelligence principles and leadership development methodologies. Proven ability to translate strategic goals into appropriate training, performance development and continuous improvement programs that enable staff to meet and manage changing priorities of the organization.
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners. Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other business related software. Proven ability to manage a team through the use of group dynamics while encouraging creativity and innovation. Results oriented with exemplary interpersonal skills. Solid influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, peers and other members of the organization. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
