Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and maintaining timely, accurate, approved entry of trade promotions in SAP Trade Promotions Management based upon PROSPER Sales Planner customer
Manage results against defined operational metrics. Verify promotion details by confirming alignment of Sales plans against contracts provided to PepsiCo trade customers
Meet or exceed all defined guidelines, especially those related to timing and accuracy of entry prior to buy start dates.
Manage exceptions through calls and written communications with Sales, Sales Finance and Customer Financial Services.
Drive Sales results through strong verbal and written communication and issue resolution
Maintain a strong control environment with accurate trade accruals, contract approvals and verifications.
Ensure all customer contract legends are current to provide Trade Promotion Analyst guidance.
Demonstrate accuracy by achieving high ratings on bi-annual audits.
Create an inclusive and cherishing environment; model leadership behaviors
Forge favorable strong working relationships with key constituents and cross functional partners (e.g. Sales, Sales Finance, Customer Finance Services)
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Accounting preferred)
Work
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year professional work experience post undergrad completion
2-4 years of financial work experience and CPG preferred
Skills & Capabilities:
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
Ability to function well in a team environment and fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication. Polished and professional in all communications, including those handled in person, on phone and/or via email
Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage assigned workload; take initiative to identify and escalate exceptions to Supervisor while maintaining resolution responsibility
Aptitude to work with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications, including SAP
Practical knowledge of SAP's CRM/ ECC transactional systems (preferred)
Able to leverage understanding of Go To Market trade strategies and accounting practices to effectively resolve issues with Sales and Sales Finance
Detail oriented; Be organized in approach as well as in document maintenance
Demonstrate ability to continue to learn new skills
