Within EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice, the Global Treasury Advisory Services (GTAS) team is a national practice and leading provider of treasury services to public and private corporations, financial services organizations, government agencies and not-for-profits organizations. We are part of an integrated global network of treasury professionals who share resources, methodologies and industry trends and practices to recommend successful global solutions. We integrate with other functions within EY to seamlessly and efficiently deliver our services that cover a broad spectrum of responsibilities faced by today's treasurers.
We are looking for an experienced treasury professional to join EY GTAS to help drive growth and manage delivery teams, bring subject matter expertise around Treasury processes to our advisory services.
Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will manage teams of advisory professionals during engagements covering a broad spectrum of treasury areas. The Senior Manager will be responsible the following tasks:
Lead engagement planning, budgeting, execution and management Ensure products/deliverables meet contract/ work plan specifications and deadlines Lead the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery Develop and managing relationships with external and internal (EY) clients Lead the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagements Lead the development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies Develop and mentoring other members of GTAS team Ability to lead a team and to establish credibility as a trusted advisor with clients Effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information in a concise and clear manner Strong executive presence and ability to interface with all levels of management (EY and clients) Strong project management and organizational experience Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree and approximately 10 years of related work experience Undergraduate and/or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Information Technology and Information Systems, Engineering and/or other appropriate academic major; MBA preferred Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is preferred Experience with a large global corporate treasury department and/or consulting experience Experience with many of the following treasury areas:
Treasury organizational structure and transformation Financial risk management (currency, interest rate, commodity) Cash flow forecasting Cash and liquidity management Bank relationship management Treasury technology International treasury centers Debt and investment management Governance, controls and regulation M&A; support (e.g., due diligence, integration, carve-outs) Hedge accounting
Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong sales, presentation and client management skills Strong training and mentoring skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
