5 Standard Work Week Job Summary This role is temporary and will assist with processing a backlog of approximately 6,000 undergraduate admission applications.
Job Description 1.
Creates, modifies, and maintains comprehensive admissions and student paper or electronic record files, using as guidelines, complex rules, policies, and regulations for an admissions and/or registration and records department.
2.
Responds to inquiries and resolves problems, which require the interpretation, explanation, and justification of organizational policies and procedures.
3.
Maintains an extensive knowledge of the university, state and federal laws, policies and procedures related to processing official admission or academic student records, and keeps current on any changes.
4.
Reviews processing procedures, forms and/or correspondence and makes suggestions for any needed changes, or creates new forms or correspondence as needed.
5.
Assists with research requested by faculty, staff and students, utilizing statistical enrollment data.
6.
Performs quality control audit of paper and electronic reports, documents, and transactions.
7.
Assists with the transcript review process8.
Review admission files for completeness so that admission decisions can be made9.
Preview completed files and make and enter admission decisions10.
Analyze and interpret prospective students records11.
Counsel and recruit prospective students (Both over the phone, email correspondence, and Walk-in)12.
Consult and inform prospective students of their admission status13.
Support office in all matters of daily operations14.
Perform Campus Tours for Recruitment15.
Attends special events for the purpose of recruitment16.
Assist with developing Digital Imaging Workflow:
Scanning & Indexing17.
Assist with Aligning Processes/Procedures to University Policy18.
Perform Data-entry for Prospects Cards10.
Update/Review Prospective Applicants Information20.
Perform Data-entry for Paper-based Admission Applications21.
Review suspended web-based admission applications and tape-load records; then make necessary step(s) to complete the admission application process for prospective students.

Generate Correspondences to prospective students (Recruitment Correspondences, Acceptance Letters & Emails) Minimum Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience in one of the following:
admissions, recruitment, marketing/sales, data processing or other related areas.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1.
Knowledge and ability to use computers and other emerging technologies2.
Knowledge of routine office practices and procedures3.
Good command of English language, both oral and written4.
Ability to deal effectively with the public5.
Ability to maintain comprehensive admissions and student academic records files6.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
