JD Edwards (JDE) Product Costing / Demand Planning Expert
One of our Pharma client is looking for a JD Edwards Product Costing / Demand Planning Expert.
Job Details are as below:
Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesJDE Assessment Assessment of current JDE pain areas in Demand Planning such as revision control and access (who can change, when to change, tracking changes) End-to-End review of current use of Work Orders / Mfg / Shop Floor Execution Provide a recommendation for a vanilla functionality / best practice as well as suggestion for forecasting tools QUOTE to CASH:
Assessment on current end-toend processes of Sales Orders management including curent use of Work Orders / Mfg.
Includes activities both in JDE and steps performed outside of JDE (eg.
Excel) MBSO:
Assessment of current program and code Evaluation if JDE has any existing module that would be better suited to achieve similar results Interview users to understand usability of current tools.
Assessment of pro/con if options exist Vs current customization option Identify limitations of current configuration (Scalability / Functionality) COSTING METHOD Assessment of current state of developing costs, applying costs and how to make this more system generated End to end review from estiamtion, order entry, mfg, inventory valuation and financials.
Provide a recommendation for a vanilla functionality / best practice on standard Vs actual costing methods.
FINANCIAL CLOSE PROCESS Identify opportunities for automation in JDE Review intercompany process in JDE USER SECURITY RISK User access risk / Admin roles assessment Environment Release and OMW Controls Evaluate capabiloities to support multiple releases with supporting environments and code controls MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT Plan to get mid level maturity on master data management - evaluate existing tools and end-to-end process and provide recommendations for future improvements (Bill To, Items and Pricing) Note:
This is not a JDE Technical role but rather a Functional / Business Consulting role with deep grasp of JDE Demand Planning, Quote to Cash, FInancial Close, Product Costing and Sales Order Management areas.
Candidates will require 15
years of JDE experience.
JDE Enterprise One experience is required.
Part-time candidates (10
hours per week) are acceptable.
Offshore candidates are acceptable.
LOCATION:
Mostly remote with occasional travel to Chicago to meet stakeholders and conduct user interviews.
Travel expenses for onsite visits will be paid separately.
Although some onsite is preferred in Chicago for conducting stakeholder interviews, milestone reviews, etc, we will still consider candidates who are only available for remote work.
