Job Summary The Engineer works under general supervision to provide Engineering support to field and staff personnel through a variety of projects and assignments.
The Engineer evaluates system performance through modeling, develops system designs, oversees construction, maintenance, and operations activities, investigates incidents, trouble-shoots systems and equipment, tests materials, and performs other assignments.
As Gas Compliance & System Integrity Engineer you will learn to:
Work as a liaison to the Illinois Commerce Commission during audits (travel is required) and update processes Compile, review, and improve data regarding completed compliance work as well as use data for monthly and quarterly reporting Work with a variety of analytical software to provide solutions to improve efficiency and safety of natural gas transmission and distribution systems Understand the operation of gas facilities to properly supply natural gas to customers Develop knowledge of the installation process of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones as a part of new pipeline construction program Ensure we are delivering a quality service to our customers Work with various stakeholders and provide input on technical engineering aspects of projects This position is part of the Engineering job family (Associate Engineer/Engineer/Senior Engineer), experience will be the determining factor.
These positions are part of our engineering rotation program.
This provides our Engineers opportunity to learn a variety of engineering functions.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 0-2 years' relevant engineering experience (internship/co-op experience may be included as relevant engineering) Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications 2

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
