We are partnering with LAZ Parking, one of the largest and fastest growing parking companies in the country, to hire motivated, responsible, independent individuals who can work as a part of a professional team and work environment.
As a Parking Enforcement Agent, you will lead with a Never Give Up attitude and provide operational support through upholding and enforcing the local parking ordinances while assisting customers with parking needs.
The Parking Enforcement Agent will accurately key vehicle license plates utilizing a Hand-Held Ticket Issuance System to issue parking citations.
Various full-time shifts are available.

97/month Paid Vacation - 5-20 days annually, based on seniority Paid Pension - employer paid FREE Onsite Employee Parking Paid Training Full Uniform (including shoes) DAILY RESPONSIBILIITES Monitor on-street parking meters for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances by following an assigned route Issue City/Municipality approved parking citations for vehicles in violation of ordinances in accordance with policies and procedures Upload hand-held computer to obtain current information required for work on a daily basis Screen for parking placards and permits for special privileges within approved areas Resolve customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures Maintain and care for all company issued equipment Assist with any special assignments and projects as requested Other related duties as assigned The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

EXPERIENCE YOU BRING Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language A minimum of 6 months of Outdoor work experience A minimum of 6 months of Customer Service experience Ability to work independently and multi-task along with ability to show a sense of urgency and timeliness Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices General knowledge of streets and directions YOUR APPROACH TO WORKING Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude) Ability to work independently and multi-task Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded) HIRING SCREENING REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 21 years of age A valid State of Illinois driver's license is required Successfully complete a fingerprint-bases criminal history record check (CHRC) Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records Background Must pass drug screening Must be a US citizen or a Permanent Resident FLSA Status:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
