Business Analyst - AWS
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Analyst / Scrum Master with expertise in AWS.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, while also facilitating Agile development processes using Scrum methodologies.
The role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and their integration into software development projects.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
Analyze and model business processes to identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Create comprehensive business requirement documents and user stories.
Scrum Master:
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Guide the team in adopting Scrum best practices and principles.
Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals.
Track and communicate team progress, impediments, and metrics.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master in software development projects.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Skills:
Business analysis tools and techniques.
Scrum and Agile methodologies.
AWS services and architecture.
User story mapping and backlog refinement.
JIRA or other project management tools.
Stakeholder management and communication.
Additional Requirements:
AWS certification (desired but not mandatory).
Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
