Desk Side Support

Job Duties o Provide direct Face-to-Face world class end user support experience with an emphasis on quality resolutionso Help improve end user's productivity by completing triage, offering advice, teaching and developing solutions to common challenges with office products and capabilitieso Provide hardware break/fix support and warranty support for current desktop, laptop, tablets and workstation deviceso Provide operating system and application support to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problemso Reimage systems as requiredo Identifies potential escalations and proactively alerts management as needed.
o Partners, as required, with other IT teams as appropriate to ensure problem resolution is obtained and, if necessary, root cause is identifiedo Recommend and/or performs upgrades on systemso Work with procurement staff to purchase hardware and softwareo Complete installation and testing of computers and peripherals within established standards and guidelineso Provide basic support for mobile devices and printerso Provide primary support to executive userso Provide equipment move serviceso Ensures configuration and inventory management database entries are complete and accurateo Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks including time tracking activitieso Local travel as neededo Perform other duties as assigned Requirements o Mac OSX expertise strongly preferred!! o Must possess a professional demeanor and strong customer service/consulting/training skillso Experience troubleshooting/repairing desktop and laptop hardware in the field or in a related areao Basic understanding of networks, Intel servers and telecomso Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks, and Dell tabletso Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)o Strong Microsoft operating system troubleshooting skillso Strong problem solving and critical thinking skillso Strong written and verbal communication skillso Must be self-motivated and the ability to work independently with minimal supervisiono Must have excellent time management skillso Must be detail and process orientedo Ability to walk long distances across large facilitieso Must be able to pass a background security checko Valid driver's license and reliable transportationJob Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
