We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of a Technical Support Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering fundamental desk-side technical support, addressing user inquiries related to PCs and software, and resolving issues efficiently. Your tasks will include maintaining a detailed log through accurate data entry and prioritizing user questions using a call tracking system.All employees and contractors, irrespective of remote or on-site work, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, following the current guidelines provided by relevant health authorities.Department:
Information Technology InfrastructureOur Technology Support Services (TSS) department plays a crucial role in serving as a central point of contact for customers in need of technical assistance. The HelpDesk's mission is to minimize downtime across the organization by coordinating support efforts to restore normal operational service, ensuring minimal business impact on the customer within agreed-upon service levels and business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to telephone calls, emails, and technical support requests. Provide constructive feedback to the supervisor on unique issues and recommend improvements to enhance end-user experience. Utilize standard procedures to resolve routine queries and escalate more complex issues to experienced tech support specialists. Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution. Handle basic requests with supervision from the team leader. Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic familiarity with Intel-based computers running Windows. Ability to follow established troubleshooting procedures. Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
