Summary:
The SAP Project Management Lead will be a key player in Verano's growing Finance organization. This position is instrumental in implementing and managing enterprise systems to facilitate the profitable growth of the company. The role will support the development and implementation of SAP across all areas of the business.As a Finance organization, our core mission is to serve our users. You will need to exhibit patience, empathy, and flexibility so that you can make our users' jobs easier, better, and faster. Success will require you to exhibit an in-depth knowledge of specialized business needs and extensive experience in managing the integration of SAP processes and cross-functional teams. This knowledge must translate into the ability to clearly communicate to the users how to properly leverage the solutions. This is an end-to-end role, in that it has responsibility for portfolio project planning and execution, prioritization and resolution of user support tickets and driving the new continuous improvement program. This role will report directly to the CFO.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Plan and deliver all projects relating to SAP implementation across business functions including Finance, Retail, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing. o Partner with key functions to align Finance and IT strategy and initiatives in support of business strategy and goals. o Assess business needs via business process analysis, collaboration, and observation across all business functions. o Determine how to best leverage Verano's enterprise platforms and industry standard processes to enhance targeted business functions. o Lead internal Verano team in SAP projects and implementations, plus ongoing user support and continuous improvement delivery. o Identify any gaps in standard processes to meet Verano's needs and assess appropriate solutions - including (but not limited to) interfacing with other software platforms and/or designing custom programs. o Facilitate training and support to end users, ensuring business continuity and operational efficiencies. o Collaborate with software, services and support partners and their technicians to deliver technical solutions and resolve issues. o Drive the documentation of processes in a clear manner as they pertain to Verano's business model and terminology. o Champion the adoption and use of standardized ways of working, methods and tools across the organization o Keep informed of the latest enterprise systems updates, developments, and offerings.Minimum
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business, finance, or in a related field. o 10
years of experience implementing and managing SAP solutions. o 2
years of people management experience. o Experience with S4 HANA o Solid knowledge of financial business processes and their integration with SAP systems. o In-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in SAP applications. o Prefer experience working for mid to large enterprises. o Demonstrated experience in managing projects and teams. o Experience in Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD) and/or Plant Maintenance (PM) is desirable. o Experience with 3rd party financial systems such as travel and expense management, month-end close automation, SEC reporting and FP&A is desirable. o Oversight of and collaboration with implementation partner consultants and/or application managed services resources is required. o Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. o Pronounced bias to action and a sense of urgency; able to quickly form, communicate and defend a point of view. Demonstrated ability to think-on-the-feet and make quick decisions. o Resourceful and ability to demonstrate accomplishments using small teams. o Estimated 25% US travel depending on project statuses, situations, and timing.About Verano:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
