1Handling all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, trials, and mediation.2Managing complex litigation matters pertaining to labor and employment law, including PAGA and Plaintiffs Class Action Litigation.3Providing advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, workplace safety, rest break laws, and more.4Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on a wide range of labor and employment issues.5Representing clients in negotiations, settlements, and mediations.6Developing case strategies to effectively represent clients in legal proceedings.7Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its clients.8Participating in business development activities, including networking events, client seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following
Qualifications:
1A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2A minimum of 2
years of employment litigation experience3Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.4Excellent analytical, communication (both written and oral), and organizational skills.5Proven track record of managing multiple cases and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.6Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.7Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes in an effective manner.8Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.9Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients.10A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.Interested in hearing more? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
