To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing As a member of CIBC's team, the Director, US Region Change Advisory & Governance is a seasoned professional responsible for leading a team to formulate approaches, oversight and strategic direction for the change governance function and CIBC US. This includes oversight of policy, processes, procedures, quality assurance testing, change initiative risk assessments, and metrics/ reporting. The role applies significant knowledge of project management, leadership skills and controls/governance expertise to deliver industry best practices in this discipline. The role exercises a high degree of independent judgement to develop and implement effective practices to achieve their objectives. The role drives alignment and consensus across areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.Key Accountabilities Defining Outcomes- Drive the team towards the strategic outcomes Governance & Oversight- Enhance and support policy, standards and processes, and their consistent application, in alignment with our partners; advocate for adherence of change initiative governance across the US Region Effective Challenge - Oversee and challenge the performance and risks of the CUSO initiative portfolio to ensure effective delivery of change. Lead the assessment of risk for our project risk type for our change initiative risk assessment and risk & control self assessment programs. Additionally, represent the US Region on Enterprise Change Initiative governance activities Quality Assurance - Lead a quality assurance function to provide insight into how the change standards are being applied in practice. Provide input on controls and their effectiveness as a result of the insights driven through QA Metrics & Reporting - Drive thought leadership on our change initiative metrics to provide insights into the impact of change to our risk thresholds and appetite.
