Job Description
Switchcraft is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio.
We are currently searching for atool and die designer to be responsible for creating technical and mechanical components using various computer-aided machines and equipment. They will monitor and ensure that these dies are cut and shaped to specifications.
First Shift M-F 6a -2:30p
$35/Hour
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Build program in Mastercam or Solid Works.
Develops plans for single stage or progressive stage dies for stamping, forming, forging, or extrusion presses, according to blueprints of product and knowledge of press characteristics and process limitations: Drafts drawings of dies necessary to form complete forging, stamping, or other part.
Determines sequence and number of die stages in which single or progressive cutting, punching, and forming will be accomplished, and type of die sets required to produce complete part, based on knowledge of dies, forming processes, and machines.
Drafts scale drawings of each die set, delineating contours and dimensions for manufacture of die.
May observe setup and tryout of newly developed die set in production machine to determine need for redesign or readiness for production use.
Collaborate with other departments and toolmakers.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience working in Mastercam or SolidWorks
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to read die blueprints
Must be able to follow instructions given by team leader or supervisor
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Education and
Experience:
10 years experience
Design Engineering degree

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
