Litigation Paralegal is a professional performing a variety of duties to assist case teams in delivering
client services and other discreet projects according to established firm policies and best practices.
This includes, but not limited to, case management, discovery processes, pretrial and trial activities,
appellate proceedings, monitoring of litigation related dates and information. Must be a team player,
effective communicator with internal and external clients, and be knowledgeable in the use of
litigation management software and case database software to efficiently review and prepare
documentation and case dashboards for team.
Responsibilities include maintaining positive contacts in the office and with clients, observing
confidentiality of client matters, demonstrating qualities of a team player, maintaining accurate time
records, complying with firm procedures and promoting firm values. Maintaining a schedule of
regular, predictable attendance is an essential component of the position.
A professional qualified through education, training, or work experience to provide quality service to
our clients and maintain high ethical standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate highly preferred.
o 3-5 years of IP litigation experience within a law firm setting is preferred.
o Experience with electronic research tools and filing systems.
o Experience with litigation support systems and software.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
o Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects,
shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
o Ability to work professionally in a consultative and collaborative manner both internally and
externally with clients.
o Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the firm's internal and personnel affairs.
o Strong interpersonal skills required to work effectively with people at all levels at the firm.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
o Must project a professional demeanor, effectively represent the firm, exhibit sound
judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
o Superior attention to detail, problem solving capabilities, strong organizational and multitasking
skills.
o Must possess exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
o Available to work before or after normal working hours as necessary in order to meet the
demands of the job and needs of the firm.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
