Manager, Executive and Visual CommunicationsResponsibilities Essential Job Functions: Manages content design, developing visual narratives and messaging that effectively communicate the BCD Travel storyWorks with in-house and vendor teams to help create dynamic visual content including presentations, collateral, videos, podcasts, photography, b-roll footage, e-newsletters, etc. in support of our strategic messagingManages project flow and acts as the liaison between external vendors and internal clients so projects are completed on time and within the agreed upon budgetConsults with presenters to understand specific needs; balances stakeholder goals and limitations with creative ideas and opportunities; and combines feedback from multiple sources to arrive at effective design solutions.Builds presentation story boards; ; creates visually impactful presentations; manages well-written speaker notes/scriptsExperience researching content internally and externally Graphic Design/Print/Electronic:Creates highly visual and creative presentations for executives and other key internal stakeholdersIntegrates strategic messages into effective visual communicationCreates, prepares and provides electronic/print collateral using professional page layout and graphic design softwarePerforms artistic and technical work to develop professional high-quality applicationsCreatively translates abstract concepts into effective visual form in a variety of media Adapts graphics to fit needs of clients and target audience Meets with internal clients to discuss their needs and interprets those needs into a final product
Qualifications:Essential:A bachelor's degree or a combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described5
years of experience as a presentation designer and/or content managerIndustry experience in one of the following: travel, hospitality, airlines, travel technologyExperience managing client/stakeholders: must have the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with the C-Suite / executives Proven track record of creating compelling, innovative, and visually creative digital contentExcellent written and oral communications skills Strong storytelling ability Subject matter expert on software and tools related to data delivery, particularly in the area of PowerPoint and other presentation tools for delivering data to stakeholdersProficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative SuiteAbility to travel up to 25% of the time. Preferred:Ability to work with diverse personality styles, able to adjust when necessary in a professional manner Coursework in multimedia, graphic design, and Web design is desirableExperience in personnel managementExperience at a large organization
