-Performs a comprehensive assessment of the patient to obtain an understanding of the patients prosthetic/orthotic needs. -Creates a comprehensive prosthetic/orthotic treatment plan to meet the needs and goals of the patient. -Performs the necessary procedures to deliver the appropriate prosthetic/orthotic services, which may include fabrication of the prosthesis or brace. -Provides continuing patient care and periodic evaluation to assure/maintain/document optimal fit and function of the device. -Complies with policies, procedures and regulations regarding human resource management, physical environment management, business/financial management and organizational management. -Participates in personal and professional development through continuing education, training, research and organizational affiliations. United States Citizenship:

Must be proficient in spoken and written English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), and 7407(d). Certification:
Must be board certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) orthotist/prosthetist. Education:
Must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in orthotics and prosthetics from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program. OR A bachelor's degree or higher in any major along with a post-graduate orthotics or prosthetics certificate from a CAAHEP accredited program.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
