The Innovation Excellence Managerwill support the retail go-to-market strategy and launch preparation for all Jimmy Dean branded short and long-term innovation launches. This individual will represent the customer perspective throughout new product development (Stage/Gate Process) on both core renovation and platform development. This individual will also support the customer sell-in process by creating critical sales materials, including gathering shopper insights and category data to help build a cohesive sell-in story for Jimmy Dean Innovations. Once products are in market this person will track and report on launch effectiveness, working with the greater SS&P Innovation team to continuously seek launch process improvement. Responsibilities include:
Provide strategic insight throughout the innovation go to market process and communicate with teams on changing market dynamics and customer feedback Manage an active pipeline via project meeting attendance and maintenance of the new items; ensure all items are set up for field forecasting, tracking and analysis. Communicate with sales field, SS&P, Marketing and category management before and during launches of each innovation item. Analyze customer reset and new item presentation timing against Tyson launch windows for both Frozen and Refrigerated Breakfast, including updating and managing the New Item Authorization Tracker and communicating with field teams as needed to gather insights Support all facets of the innovation launch process, including sales material development, sell story positioning, and new item reporting Collaborate with innovation partners to develop sell sheets and where applicable, packaging flats or POGs for all new item launches Support procurement process for new item samples and sales materials; work closely with AisleLogic and AIT, third party fulfillment partners Maintain online sales materials and publish timely updates to the field Collaborate with IRI and Nielsen partners to set-up new items within the syndicated databases Track new item performance in-market for the first year of launch; work with data analytics team to ensure consistency and accuracy of item reporting, identify gaps to forecast utilizing in-market data Support customer teams on key meetings & presentations as pertains to innovation and sampling; communicate with cross-functional leadership teams on innovation details & initiatives Interact cross-functionally with Insights & Innovation, Brand, Project Management, Customer Management, Shopper Insights, Category Leadership, Space Planning & Assortment, Supply Chain and Finance

Bachelor's Degree required
Experience:
5
years relevant CPG experience in Innovation, Customer/Trade Marketing, Sales, and/or Category Management Special Skills:
Ability to analyze syndicated data and provide insights Communication:
Strategic influencing and communication skills Computer skills:
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
