The District Director - Enrollment Planning & External Partnership engages a variety of external stakeholders including community groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses and provide support to the enrollment management teams across the district serving as a point of contact to connect potential students with CCC's academic and career training programs. Performs related duties as required. Your Responsibilities Works with the VC-Enrollment Management to design and implement a comprehensive District Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and provide opportunities for continuous monitoring and improvement of recruitment and outreach efforts to new students. Coordinates and facilitates enrollment planning initiatives that build capacity for the Office of Enrollment Management. Coordinates and collaborates with K-12 and external partners to develop and manage Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) that build enrollment capacity for student enrollment at CCC; ensures the execution of said partnerships through an effective evaluation process and ongoing annual reviews. Collaborates with enrollment management team to recommend responses and action plans for streamlining and reducing barriers to enrollment that are identified through interactions with external stakeholders. Facilitates coordination of district-wide activities to present CCC and its degree and non-degree programs to prospective students and parents, including student tours of individual campuses, systematic and efficient handling of admissions applications and communication with candidates, placement testing, and guidance on next steps towards enrollment. Provides guidance and support to Deans, Directors, Managers and staff across the district by facilitating/ co-facilitating meetings regarding implementation of district-wide enrollment initiatives. Collaborates with the VC-Enrollment Management and Marketing and Communication's staff on implementing best practices to promote CCC and build awareness of available CCC programs to prospective students. Supports the use of emerging technologies as it relates to the pipeline and provides and coordinates training on tools and systems used district-wide for recruitment and outreach purposes. Reviews and analyzes environmental scan data and enrollment trends to assist in effectively identifying solutions for enrollment management impacted by factors such as, but not limited to, changing community demographics and local employment opportunities. Researches and analyzes changing demographics, economic and employment factors in communities across district and their impact on enrollment at individual campuses. Advises VC-Enrollment Management on enrollment trends and provides recommendations on strategies to increase district-wide enrollment in support of social, economic, and environmental changes impacting campus communities. Reviews and provides updates on external partnership opportunities as it relates to enrollment management. Performs and assists in other duties pertaining to enrollment planning as assigned. Your Qualifications A Master's degree from an accredited college or university Five years of work experience in higher education, preferably in areas of enrollment management, admissions and recruitment Demonstrated knowledge and ability to design and implement new admissions and recruitment programs Must be able to effectively represent CCC with internal and external stakeholders Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to cultivate and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders Ability to work within a culturally diverse environment Ability to handle all situations with tact, persuasiveness and diplomacy. Must be self-directed and innovative; able to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends; some travel within District required Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Education AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
