Sr. SAP Support Analyst - SD at zekelman industries in Chicago, IL

Zekelman Industries Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Applications Analyst to join our SAP Support Center (SSC) team at our corporate headquarters in Chicago. Reporting to the SSC Support Manager, this person will be the subject matter expert in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) applications and will provide a high level of support to create an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Daily support activities:
help desk call support, create production tickets, triage incidents and log information, and communicating to teammates at all levels across the Company Prioritize and resolve production issues related to incident break-fixes and enhancement requests Coordinate with SAP end users, SAP functional team and/or technical team for requirement gathering, troubleshooting, and solutions Create functional specification documents for application development objects Design, consult, and support security requirements for SAP SD processes Enhance existing solutions by indentifying, evaluating, recommending options, and implementing new solutions Utilize query and reporting tools Understand SAP SD integration point to any other SAP functional areas such as FI, CO, MM, PP Configure and customize in SAP SD and LE to support daily production tickets and small to medium enhancement requests Contribute to the IT teams and SAP end users by facilitating in knowledge sharing, training sessions, and developing training documents Contribute to the project team from SAP SD and LE side Support the development team and end users during testing Other duties as assigned Required
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in multiple full life cycle implementations and support in SAP SD and LE modules, expert in Order to Cash value stream Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Masters degree in any discipline is preferred. Experience in SD and LE transfer processing, pricing, drop shipment, consignment, credit management, tax procedures, and rebate processing Experience in SAP SD and LE master data for SD billing process, inter-company billing process, transfer pricing, SD pricing procedure and SD tax process Regular, full-time, predictable on-site attendance per the posted schedule, including rotating on-call availability, is an essential function of this role Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy Physical Abilities:
Remain in stationary position for the majority of the day. Occasional movement inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Ability to lift up to 10lbs Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
