POSITION PROFILE Ricoh is seeking a Business Analyst to help define project scope and business requirements, develop technical specifications, and provide a channel between technical and creative teams in the web design and development process. The Business Analyst will also collaborate with teams to define, build, and rollout innovative technology and business process solutions to increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and drive revenue. The ideal candidate has broad experience working on web development, CMS, and application projects in a digital environment (agency/client side). The candidate will provide functional/application expertise within the assigned function including conducting in depth quality reviews on design and testing. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understand client goals to develop detailed design and functional specifications for large scale, complex business to customer web development projects Gather requirements from the client; define and document the features and functionalities to be built and ensure project team is clear on specifications Consult a diverse group of stakeholders with varying levels of technical aptitude, and assist in translating the information into working requirements documentation for technical teams Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of web sites and other web-based applications designed to meet business goals Work with teams of internal and external web designers, developers, project managers, and content specialists to define, design, monitor, and improve web applications Apply functional knowledge to the design and configuration of systems Maintain strong relationships with web associates, database administrators, system administrators, the marketing team, application developers, and IT to meet objectives To troubleshoot and diagnose complex business problems and recommend solutions. To keep abreast of latest tools / applications / techniques in the assigned area. Delivery - gather requirements, gap analysis, estimate work, review functional designs, review test plans, prepare trace-ability matrix, coordinate business testing, review test results, and monitor/manage defects to closure. Location Chicago, Illinois Job Description Continued QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience in technical or related field Minimum 5 years of Web and/or IT project experience is required Project management certifications (desired) Work within existing tools (including Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Adobe XD) to document and maintain requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES o Possesses ability to interpret business needs and translate them to create complex solutions. o Possesses ability to work with users as needed. o Conducts research around best practices and has ability to adequately document created solutions. o Possesses ability to effectively communicate with people at multiple levels. o Possesses facilitation skills including ability to organize, conduct and document effective meetings. o Possesses ability to clearly communicate technical and procedural information verbally and in written documentation form. o Possesses ability to recognize conflict situations and resolve many; escalates those that cannot be resolved. o Possesses ability to determine resolution for routine and non-routine issues; recognizes issues for escalation. o Possesses very good customer service and interpersonal skills; is motivated and team oriented. o Possesses ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, is organized and dependable. o Possesses ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.Strong understanding of industry trends and web content management systems, as well as software programs like the Adobe Suite, JIRA Atlasian, Google analytics.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

Business AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
