SAP Support Analyst - MM at zekelman industries in Chicago, IL
Zekelman Industries is seeking SAP Support Analyst at our Chicago, IL corporate headquarters. Reporting to the Manager of the SAP Solution Center, this person provides application support and consulting with an emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service. Primary activities include triaging and resolution of support and enhancement requests for internal customers in multiple SAP ECC 6.0 instances across multiple business units and functions. Desired candidate will have a demonstrated mastery in SAP Materials Management (MM).
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to Zekelman business users, communicate timely and professionally via phone, email, or in person Handle support calls throughout the SAP Solution Center support hour, create support tickets and log issue detail, continuously monitor and triage open unassigned ticket. Provide SME support for the resolution of break fixes and enhancements through design, configure, develop, maintenance and reports of application in the respective area Utilize query and reporting tools to provide flexible and timely delivery of support and act as an SME to business users for solution proposals and training Provide leadership and guidance to business by analysis and research, tracking and understand system capabilities to recommend best practice to increase process efficiency at minimum time Prioritize support tickets for break fixes, enhancements and contribute to training by developing KB documents and KT sessions Contribute to medium or large scale SAP projects as an SME in the respective area Develop and maintain a professional and productive relationships within business units, IT team and support Other duties as assigned by reporting manager Required
Qualifications:
Multiple full life cycle implementations experience in SAP MM with expertise in submodules IM, WM, and Procurement in manufacturing industries Experience in supporting master data including material, vendor, customer, batch master, source list, info records, and pricing Hands on experience in supporting stock transfers, consignment orders and vendor returns Extensive knowledge in LIV process, input tax and integration of MM to other modules. Experienced in managing special stocks and stock categories in IM and WM managed SLocs Knowledge of EDI/IDOCS functionality for cross company order within and across SAP environments is a plus Strong customer service skills, team player, collaborative and flexible Minimum 5 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP project in MM area with at least 2 years of support experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Able to work off-hours or weekends to support business in case of business-critical failures or urgencies Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
