Department Overview The Motorola Solutions Command Central Video Services team is responsible for the architecture, design, and development of cloud-based Video Management Solutions servicing Public Safety and Enterprise Customers. Motorola Solutions designs, develops, manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems. We are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer that will be a part of a highly collaborative team that will work on mobile and fixed video solutions. Job Description Responsibilities Include Design and development of cloud-based Video Management Solutions for live media, and recorded media playback Assist with the development of automation for scaling solutions Maximize solution resilience and reliability while providing mechanisms to improve uptime Able to participate in group discussions by expressing thoughts and ideas clearly. Self-driven, high energy, highly innovative person with a positive attitude Effectively collaborate with technical leaders in a multi-team environment Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required, with an emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience working in an Agile environment 3 years of Software Development experience Strong background in software development; experience in JAVA or C# At least 1 year of Angular Experience Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs Unit/integration testing experience Able to troubleshoot and debug issues; work with offshore teams as required. Support and triage issues with customer integration teams under minimum supervision. A strong troubleshooting methodology and the ability to work under fast-paced timelines. This role can be remote anywhere in the US. Basic Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree plus 3
years of software development experience OR Master's degree
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
