Lead Software Drupal Engineer - Remote at Adtalem Global Education in Chicago, IL

We are looking for a Lead Full-stack Drupal Engineer to head-up our Drupal practice for our industry-leading global organization. This Technical Lead will be hands-on, responsible for working Drupal projects through the entire life cycle in addition to managing and coaching a team of engineers. The ideal candidate has high energy, is self-motivated, highly organized, adaptable, and an expert at turning ambiguity into logical plans. This role works with scrum teams in an Agile environment, as well as on self-directed activities. Responsibilities require independent analysis, excellent communication, and advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities Analyzes, architects, designs, and develops solutions using current Drupal framework(s) / PHP, MySQL, and integration technologies APIs . Provide full lifecycle technical leadership on medium to large scale complex initiatives. Lead Drupal engineers and provide guidance through solution architecture, technical design, best practices implementation, code reviews, and non-functional considerations. Drive technical decisions and be accountable for the delivery of those decisions. Monitor site availability and performance and troubleshoot and remediate issues. Build beautiful user experiences with highly-performant and reliable capabilities. Oversee Drupal configuration management / sync and hosting administration. Advise and influence internal clients towards innovative solutions. Install, test and debug contrib Drupal modules. Perform RCA, deliver remediation, and provide production support as needed. Completes other duties as assigned. #LI-Remote Qualifications Passion for user experience, critical thinker, detail oriented, creative team player with a strong appetite for life-long learning and cross-skilling. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent industry experience. Twelve (12) plus years' experience in application development. Seven (7) plus years building web properties using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and MySQL for high traffic ecommerce sites. Five (5) plus years in engineering management with Agile experience leading Scrum teams. Two (2) plus years directly managing teams while concurrently hands-on keyboard. Acquia Drupal 8 / 9 Developer Certification (Developer, Front End Specialist) desired; Drupal 8 / 9 Grand Master Certification Preferred. API Integration experience with Salesforce or other systems. Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), SDLC, CMMI and PCI compliant sites. Experience upgrading and migrating legacy web applications and various versions of highly customized components to current. Ability to collaborate effectively, identify potential solutions, and effectively communicate / sell the benefits to stakeholders of various audiences. Git, Jenkins, Acquia, TravisCI, Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Selenium via Java, and the Atlassian suite.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & Engineering, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
