Position Overview:
Our IT team is growing and currently looking for a Sr Pega Engineer. We are in the midst of a digital transformation with massive investments into cutting edge technologies and are looking for a hands on engineer that can play a key role in helping to turn the vision into a reality. In this role, you'll work closely with technical leadership and provide expertise while partnering with various cross functional teams. You will have the ability to influence many aspects of the direction we take, so we're looking for someone who is energized by the idea of playing a key role in a truly transformative initiative. Ideally you have a strong background in Pega and Java Technologies- we'll help you learn anything else. This role will be primarily focused on developing solutions to business problems using Pega 8.4 Platform in collaboration with onshore and offshore Pega resources. The ideal candidate will have experience with both design & development of Pega BPM and design & development of case management applications in the Pega Platform. This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and the individual can sit anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement exceptional technical solutions using Pega Technologies. Collaborate with project team on the development and design of applications. Create software code, unit tests and assist with encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Coordinate with testing team on resolution of identified defects. Participate, understand and solve business problems and provide alternative solutions. Define and analyze software requirements to determine specifications and standards. Understand business requirements and prepare designs for translating those into software applications. Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications. Research and assist in the development, and/or participate in hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance of large enterprise applications. This includes troubleshooting production issues, deploying application and configuration components, automation, and upgrade. Assist in production support of business applications:
troubleshoot application failures and diagnosing performance or reliability issues of applications; assisting application teams in the use of custom support tools. Implement system functionality to manage all aspects of program applications, ranking, and eligibility determinations. Incorporates user feedback into the application/product design. Translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using PegaSystems methodology and DCO tools.
Qualifications:
Strong intellectual curiosity Bachelors of Computer Science is preferred 6
years' experience in software development 2
years of experience working with Pegasystems technologies Certification in Pega required Experience in implementing integrations to 3rd party Implementation Knowledge of APIs, REST protocols Domain knowledge of Insurance and Claims preferred Passionate about delivering solutions that excite and delight our customers Clearly demonstrates analytical ability and critical thinking skills Skilled in Agile development/methodologies Self-motivated and results oriented; able to motivate others Takes an innovative approach to problem solving Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; experience leading groups of people through discussions, technical or otherwise Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization. Strong experience in continuous integration and DevOps
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
