Manager, Sustainability

Sustainability and Strategic Partnerships:
In coordination with the VP and Director, will be responsible for managing and advancing a strategic sustainability framework and initiatives that engage employees and consumers to deliver measurable change. Establish and drive institutional and external partnerships to grow company initiatives and thought leadership. Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders that deliver both business and social impact value to include the ESG Core Group. Collaborate across multiple integrated workstreams, teams and geographies and support the Director and Senior Director, Government Relations to promote the company's sustainability efforts and broad awareness of sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally, to include the creation and distribution of the annual Sustainability Report. Develop a national volunteerism platform to engage Adtalem employees and grow the company's commitment to empower employees, customers and communities to drive collective positive cultural change. Track institutional community engagement and volunteerism efforts and make connections across institutional teams to encourage sharing of efficiencies and best practices. Support the Director in managing the Adtalem Foundation grant application and approval process, support the Director and Foundation President in management of board materials and reports, and proactively build strategic partnerships to maximize impact of Foundation. Identify trends and best practices of current organizational goals, activities and funding requirements. Create cohesive alignment of Foundation and global corporate giving strategy. Research and recommend potential partnerships for Adtalem and support colleagues' cultivation of new philanthropic collaborators. Research and identify prospects in target philanthropic markets and in response to current and future strategic priorities. Provide professional, quality customer service to partners/grant recipients, board members, volunteers, staff and other community contacts. Support Director in management of corporate giving budget and alignment of US and Caribbean community relations giving strategy. Oversee due diligence with US and global partners and work with companies and institutions to execute goals. Identify and secure opportunities through corporate giving that build community partnerships and meet business goals. External Relations:
Work with Director and Senior Director of GR to identify and facilitate strategic engagement with US and global stakeholders to build and protect reputation, brand and relationships. Partner with Global Communications team to seek and advance external relations opportunities to promote narrative and messaging. Align external relations with Adtalem's legislative agenda; promote GR activities to internal and external audiences; monitor, track and review news sources impacting company and disseminate to appropriate audiences; assist in management of GR events to include Hill briefings, receptions, speaking opportunities and GR social media initiatives. Work with GR team on all advocacy initiatives to include but not limited to, development of fact sheets; analysis of various industry reports; and grassroots/grasstops advocacy. They may be, however, subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. - Undergraduate degree required. - Five years' experience in public relations, foundation and community relations, and corporate social responsibility. - Experience with NGOs, partnerships, philanthropy and sustainability issues. - An interest in and understanding of policy and public relations. - Experience with congressional caucus foundations beneficial. - Ability to build strong academic and other partnerships. - Demonstrated project management skills to deliver results. - Strong problem-solver and proven critical thinking, analytical skills. - Track record of managing cross-functional teams with demonstrated results. - Ability to conduct background research and communicate findings in a clear and succinct manner. - Flexible and action-oriented, with an ability to adapt to changing situations. - Works well under pressure in an extremely fast-paced environment; possess a strong work ethic and sound judgement. - Thorough attention to detail and follow-through with internal and external stakeholders. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Contributes to a culture of innovation and exemplary organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
