Senior Manager, Marketing Planning

Responsible for leading a high performing team and building out the postpaid and corporate brand prepaid product portfolios including a holistic strategy, roadmap, and tactical plan focused on meeting the needs of UScellular' s consumers. Drive the growth and evolution of these lines of business through pricing, promotions, product enhancements and distribution expansion while delivering an excellent customer experience and a positive impact on sales and profitability. This role will partner closely with numerous cross-functional teams including the Marketing Operations, Pricing/promotions, Finance, Brand, Devices, Product technology, sales, Customer care, Customer insights, and Supply chain. Lead the creation of quarterly and annual marketing strategies and plans to drive the key objectives for the postpaid and prepaid business lines. Build and deliver portfolio overview to an executive leadership team on a bi-annual basis intended to inform, persuade. Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all marketing and brand team members are kept informed of key objectives, strategy, go-to-market plan and deliverables. Set marketing and brand planning calendar, coordinate cross-functional activities and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables. Function as a storyteller, pulling together the value proposition and key marketing elements (i.e. pricing, promotions, devices, products, accessories) into a cohesive story to showcase our products and promotions. Show passion and genuine caring for our customers, frontline associates, and improving the revenue and profitability through marketing strategy efforts (messaging, readiness and incentives). Identify research needs, execute research studies and projects, and analyze research in order to identify opportunities. Collaborate with Brand and CRM Strategists to identify go-to-market opportunities and messaging for key audiences. Drive the overall vision and product strategy for the prepaid product portfolio including building the overarching short and long term strategy, product enhancements, technical implementations, pricing and promotional initiatives to drive product growth and profitability across all channels. Deliver innovative recommendations for the evolution of the go-to-market strategy by leveraging industry developments, consumer insights, competitor plans/positioning and trends in customer demand and adoption. Actively monitors and evaluates the rapidly changing competitive environment and adjusts price points, promotions, plans, strategy to address shifts in the market. Build and deliver portfolio overview to an executive leadership team on a bi-annual basis intended to inform, persuade. Oversees execution of go to market, launch, maintenance and close-out marketing strategies and programs. #LI-LP1 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience 8-10 years in product management, product development, sales and/or marketing preferably in a business to consumer market. Demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial qualities with the ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors Proven project management and analytical skills. Demonstrated creativity and effectiveness in marketing programs including but not limited to promotions, marketing communications, point of sale, etc. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong time and project schedule management skills required to consistently meet deadlines and ensure preparedness for launch or implementation of products, services or initiatives. Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA or graduate degree Five or more years managing teams. Professional experience within the prepaid industry, telecommunications industry, or with a wireless voice/data service provider.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
