Sr Supply Planner

The Senior Supply Planner manages the supply planning process for their respective category within the Supply Chain Planning team. This individual contributor role is responsible for using analytical techniques to align supply with the demand and safety stock plans. Work with suppliers and internal teams at all levels to stay aligned with key Supply Chain strategies. The Supply Planner collaborates with the Supply Chain team to create solutions for supply issues while controlling costs. This supply plan controls annual purchases of $1B and is critical to service levels to retail locations and customers. Manage the Supply Planning process for assigned category and represent the function in complex cross collaborative projects. Develop and implement the supply plan for the category through analysis and collaboration with the Supply Chain team to support demand, inventory, and replenishment plans while making decisions to align with department Key Performance Indicators which require multiple functions to work together. Partner with managers/directors on multiple internal teams throughout the organization for collaborative planning and management of business objectives. These teams include Product Management, Pricing and Promotions, Marketing, Finance, and Sales. Influence stakeholders using supply planning expertise for the lifecycle planning process with internal partners, third party service providers, and large suppliers. Recommend innovative solutions and best practices within the Supply Planning function. Manage and maintain the Supply Chain relationship with critical suppliers through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation and reporting. Influence suppliers to improve delivery and operational performance through formal communication vehicles. Evaluate and negotiate purchasing tradeoffs to maximize mutual benefit. Work with accounts payable, purchasing, suppliers, accounting, and the distribution center to resolve purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice discrepancies to prevent credit holds and supply disruption. Coordinate with the distribution center to resolve purchase order discrepancies, improve distribution center efficiency, and reduce costs. Analyze large amounts of data in conjunction with business insights to provide conclusions and recommend strategies to be used with category team and collaborative planning team. Lead category team on special projects, reporting needs, and ad hoc requests to accommodate a rapidly changing business environment. Act as functional mentor to Supply Planners. Responsible for creative solutions for problem solving within the Supply Planning function. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience 7
years of relevant work experience Supply, Material Planning, or Purchasing experience Experience with advanced planning systems Advanced analytical skills Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.) Excellent written & verbal communication skills Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and reprioritize as needed Self-motivated and able to make timely quality decisions Ability to build relationships and work in a collaborative, cross functional environment Lead independently through influence within functional area and possess the ability to set strategy and a course of action. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA SAP (ECC/APO/IBP) experience Retail or Wireless Industry experience
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
