Associate Jira Developer

The Associate Jira Developer acts as a technical tools specialist having responsibilities in maintenance of tools, templates, and documentation library for the team. Maintains DevSecOps Toolchain tools and training resources on the tools. Recommends and develops, maintains, and trains on templates, processes, and procedures to be used across the broader enterprise. We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Jira and Confluence Systems Administrator for this role who can design and deliver the platform. Major Responsibilities include developing JIRA workflows, dashboards, metrics, reports, and advanced filters to provide meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports. Essential Functions Responsible for operational management of tools, including monitoring, starting system, stopping systems and basic troubleshooting. Develops and maintains toolset reports. Engages vendors to quickly resolve any issues, and properly prioritize issues for resolution. Participates in upgrades, disaster recovery setup and testing, and system patching- ensuring impacted users are aware of changes. Contributes to the deployment of new toolset features, ensuring quality delivery with minimal disruption to business processes. Communicates changes and downtime of tools to impacted stakeholders. Responsible for training and documentation of processes and procedures for impacted stakeholders. Utilizes onboarding procedures for new users and applications, building pipelines, and workflows to accommodate use of the tool functionality. Writes basic automated scripts per toolset requirements. Develops and maintains audit report processes and monthly/quarterly evaluation. Manages small efforts from requirements gathering through system development and end user delivery. Understands fundamental business acumen and relates back to toolsets. Learns industry trends for toolsets and business. Contributes to continuous improvement by leveraging quality improvement methodologies. Participates in DevSecOps, Agile, and Software Development Life Cycle learning opportunities. Assists in the selection, proof of concept, and testing of new DevSecOps Toolchain tools. Provides input and recommendation into the DevSecOps Toolchain strategy and roadmap. Required Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 1
years of experience in tool support and process development Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills Exceptional written and verbal communications skills Demonstrates ability to manage small efforts in application lifecycle development Foundational experience in scripting languages (e.g., Linux/Unix, Groovy, Perl, VB Script) Experience in any DevSecOps Toolchain products (e.g., Clarity, Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, GitHub, OpenShift, JFrog Artifactory, Automic CDA (Continuous Delivery Automation)) Foundation workflow/pipeline experience Must demonstrate strong industry awareness of applicable tools vendor solutions Preferred Experience Experience with Atlassian Jira Experience with Confluence Systems Administration
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
