Manager, IT Incentive Compensation Management DevOps

This role will be responsible for leading a team of high-performing incentive compensation platform developers supporting both the development of key features and enhancements and day-to-day operations for UScellular's Varicent incentive compensation platform. This leader will be responsible for ensuring the effective completion of the development, testing, deployment, and post-production validation phases of the software development lifecycle. This role also plays an important part in developing key operational processes, practices, and procedures for supporting ITSM processes and ensuring high-quality customer and business partner support. Location Note This role can be performed out of the following UScellular Business Locations:
Chicago, IL Schaumburg, IL Waukesha, WI Madison, WI Knoxville, TN Tulsa, OK Required Experience Manage and support a team of 3 to 7 Incentive Compensation developers, providing technical expertise and cultural alignment within UScellular's Dynamic Organization. Work with key HR Incentive Compensation and technical support teams to understand business strategy and how their team contributes to the success of our organization. Partners closely with Incentive Compensation Management engineers to understand new feature and defect requirements, translating those requirements into deliverables for their team. Acts as a continuous improvement advocate in driving changes within their team that drive increased efficiency and customer service. Responsible for the quality and standards created by the IT ICM DevOps organization in collaboration with our incentive compensation business partners. Partners closely with vendor and platform partners to ensure high availability and quality. May be expected to lead onshore and offshore vendor teams of various sizes and contractors as needed. Provides direct leader(s) with meaningful updates and reports on delivery of changes to the platform as well as areas of operations. Establishes effective relationships with internal business partners, vendors, and staffing agencies to ensure exceptional service delivery. Expected to create and maintain necessary budgets for staffing vendors, contractors, and managed services where applicable. Provides performance management support to help associates achieve their career goals, reach their highest levels of performance, and to ensure that they are effective ambassadors of the Dynamic Organization. Maintains appropriate on-call schedules to ensure a good work/life balance for their team. Manages and adheres to all IT organization processes including ITSM (Change, Incident, Problem, Release Management) and SOX. Collaborates with ETQA and ICM Technical Product Owner set best delivery practices and plan delivery of modifications to the ICM platform. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience (including military) required. 7
years of relevant experience in systems and applications support management. Requires prior management, supervisory or team leader experience. Data and application analysis experience in a complex technical environment. Strong project management and team management skills. Experience in implementing quality guidelines, standards, and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship management skills. Preferred Qualifications Incentive compensation management platform experience. Experience leading blended onshore and offshore teams. Wireless telecommunications experience. Varicent/IBM Cognos ICM platform experience. Influencing/negotiation skills and vendor management skills.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
