Senior AEM Developer

The Senior AEM Developer is an expert at AEM Administration tasks and building websites and applications using JavaScript and Adobe CQ/AEM. This role should be able to lead other expert developers in contributing to the success of the team. The Senior AEM Developer will help optimize the user experience by developing compelling and engaging digital experiences through the use of back-end web technologies and coding practices, with attention to user experience and modern design. Work with numerous external vendors, internal UScellular business partners, as well as internal IT partners. Essential Functions Build websites and applications using Adobe CQ/AEM Component bug fixing and maintenance Set up the roles and privileges Set up new users Actively engage and collaborate with project managers to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality Work collaboratively with other teams; QA, UX, etc. Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environment Coach, mentor, and onboard junior associates Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 5
years of software development experience in AEM demonstrating depth of technical understanding within AEM Sites, Assets, and Workflows Solid experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets and bundles. Expert on Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework, DAM, Workflows is required. Expert on Sling Models, touch UI libraries and Adobe core components Expert with Continuous Integration and Automated test execution and building tools such as Jenkins, Selenium or Maven. Integration experience with other systems Extensive experience working with Adobe CQ/AEM (AEM 6.0 - 6.4) Extensive experience with developing advanced custom AEM component using Java, Maven, Eclipse, JSTL tags or sling API Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and attendant technologies Experienced in Agile Scrum Development methodology Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, leaders, managers, and subject matter experts Preferred Qualifications Desired knowledge of web, mobile and application design Adobe Experience Cloud Understanding of all web layers (CDN, Load Balancers) Expert knowledge of web accessibility, performance, and security Java testing and logging frameworks Capable with Java Content Repository at the API and Query level Familiar with ReactJS Web Framework and responsive design patterns
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
