Associate IT ICM Engineer

The Associate IT ICM Engineer will be responsible for supporting strategic ICM initiatives for UScellular's Varicent Incentive Compensation Management platform. This role will partner closely with the IT Incentive Compensation Management team to support the intake and requirements phases for enhancements, improvements, and refactoring. This role will partner with senior ICM Engineers and Developers in delivering quality solutions to support our associates. Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with previous experience in a technical business or systems analysis role who has an interest in learning new marketable skills. Candidate will be trained on aspects of the Varicent incentive compensation management system that is currently used by UScellular. Location Note:
This role is available to business offices throughout our operating footprint. Essential Functions Participates in the research of existing processes, systems, systems logic, hardware deployment, and desired objectives to develop systems specifications to meet the objectives of assigned projects. Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements, and specifications Possess the ability to break down processes into simple concepts and speak both technically and with business acumen Participates in architectural sessions with IT ICM Engineers and Senior IT ICM Engineers, business partners, focusing on solution, model, and data impacts. Evaluates solutions that complement the Varicent platform while also meeting or exceeding business needs. Designs solutions that enable maintainability and drive understanding across the team. Under the direction of more senior IT ICM Engineers, refactors queries utilized within the platform. Participates in meetings related to:
requirements and design sessions, test cases, test execution, deployment, and warranty support. Utilizes patterns necessary to support future development within the platform. Identify potential solution and internal process enhancements. Supports the planning and execution of statements of work and purchase orders. Works with Senior IT ICM Engineer and Lead IT ICM Engineer to document technical requirements for internal and EPM-initiated projects. Required Experience 1
years supporting or developing software applications. Experience in Scrum software development preferred. Strong business experience Understanding of all phases of the IT delivery cycle Strong presence to participate in business partner and vendor discussions. Strong written and communication skills Strong organization and planning skills Strong SQL skills, preferably utilizing MySQL. Preferred Qualifications 1
years of relevant professional work experience; preferably working on an incentive compensation platform
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
