Telephony Engineer I

Job Duties:
Plan, design, implement, and support telephony related technologies including IP Telephony platforms, Gateways, Session Border Controllers, Genesys SIP Server, SIP Endpoints, GAX, Feature Server, Interaction Recording, VoIP Networking Architecture and Databases. Provide subject matter expertise around the specific telephony technologies as well as project management for the deployment of infrastructure projects. Act as the primary vendor interface and tier-three support for telephony technologies provided and supported by vendors. Troubleshoot and resolve operational outage as it pertains to Telephony in our production environment. Provide planning, design, development, and implementation of Telephony related infrastructure technologies including large Genesys call center applications, GVP IVR, Outbound dialer, VoIP Networking Architecture, Databases, ACDs/ PBXs and IP Telephony platforms. Provide project management for the deployment of infrastructure projects, as well as act as primary vendor interface and tier-three support for applications and technologies provided and supported by vendors. Identify and lead changes needed in the infrastructure configuration to achieve the technology organization goals. Lead project management oversight for infrastructure implementation projects. Implement technology and infrastructure changes for platforms, performance and scoring as well as analyze system response and determine tuning recommendations to improve performance. Manage effective issue identification and resolution process and serve as the focal point for infrastructure-related issues/ crisis resolution. Demonstrate strong analytical and critical decision-making skills and have the capacity to support on-call rotation and overnight work as needed. Up to 10% domestic travel required to visit vendor locations or U.S. Cellular facilities. Requirements:
The position of Telephony Engineer I Genesys requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Specific Skills or Other Requirements:
Additionally, the applicant must have:
experience with configuring complex routing strategies and call flows within Genesys utilizing IRD and composer; experience with creating and supporting Genesys Outbound dialer campaigns including Preview, Predictive and Progressive; experience with implementation and support of Genesys Interaction Recording Platform; experience with support and troubleshooting core components - Genesys Framework, Universal Routing Server (URS), Genesys Voice Portal (GVP), IRD, T-Server, StatServer, SCI, CME, Genesys Admin, CCPulse, Pulse, ICON/Infomart, and Composer; experience with reporting tools utilizing Genesys Interactive Insights and Infomart. $100K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
