Bonuses of 15-20% No sponsorship available We are seeking a Application Security Engineer to join our growing Security Operations team at our client. The Application Security Operations team is responsible for ensuring the highest level of confidentiality, integrity and availability of our industry leading platforms and global workforce. As a member of Security Operations team, you'll work closely with operations, Development and Infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop a mature Application Security program Perform security assessments Engage with Development teams to perform secure code reviews of all applications Maintain threat models for applications Champion secure coding culture through edification of development teams Develop and maintain application security policies Identify secure coding solutions to ensure adherence to company policy Liaise with third party security firms during external security audits Requirements 3--5 years of experience as an Application Security Engineer BS in Computer science or related field Familiarity with industry standard threat identification models (STRIDE, DREAD, ASF, etc) Knowledge of application Security Frameworks (OWASP, CIS, etc) Proficient in scripting languages (python, bash, batch, etc) for automation of repeatable tasks Knowledge of risk concerns and controls in Public and Private Cloud environments Intellectually curious individual, eager to learn and apply new concepts quickly Affinity for digging into complex problems and working to resolution Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Highly collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships with multiple teams Solid understanding of technical concepts related to networking and system engineering Available to participate in an on-call rotation and work outside of business hours or on weekends when necessary Industry standard security certifications (OSCP, OSCE, CASE, CEH, etc
