Our Valuation Advisory Team is looking for a dynamic Real Estate Business Valuation Manager in our DC Metro, New York, or Chicago office. The Real Estate Business Valuation Manager will focus on valuations of real estate related operating companies such as property managers, developer platforms, lender/syndicators, construction companies and trades, carried interests in real estate funds, and partnership interests in real estate. Overall daily management of engagement when working directly with a Partner or Director or managing significant components of an engagement when working with a Senior Manager. Design scope of work for engagements with Senior Manager, Director, or Partner. Prepare engagement letters, Prepare scope-specific document requests lists, Prepare and review valuation analyses and reports of equity interest and businesses for transactions, tax and regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and litigation purposes. Review and analyze client financial data, market data, industry data, economic data, and partnership documents (if applicable). Supervise, mentor, and develop staff; provide performance feedback and training. Communicate the status of engagements and deliverables on a regular basis. Responsible for quality control (e.g., math/spelling checks, model/report formatting) and accuracy of client deliverables. Improve internal processes, procedures, policies, analyses, and models. Assist in developing templates to improve engagement efficiency Help develop best practices across the team Develop and maintain sustainable client and referral relationships. Actively pursue and assist in business development efforts, including collaboration with other CohnReznick practices. You will need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. ASA and/or CFA designation (or significant progress made towards the designation and expected to be obtained within 2 years) and/or CPA/ABV designation. 5
years business valuation experience (transactional, tax, financial reporting) and accounting and advisory firm or independent valuation firm. Experience and interest valuing businesses in the real estate industry. Ability to work independently on multiple engagements simultaneously with competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based environment. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (MS Excel), and report writing skills (MS Word). Strong knowledge of corporate finance and financial accounting. Experience working with Capital IQ and other industry data sources. Proven ability to effectively interact directly with senior client personnel and key decision-makers. Ability to recognize opportunities for other advisory and compliance services. Your CR Advantage:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
