Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
Overview Walsh is currently seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to work in our Chicago, IL office. The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer architects and manages the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex corporate data and voice infrastructure. The individual will provide expert troubleshooting and technical support of systems for supported business units. They will coordinate teams in working through solutions and ensure high availability of enterprise data platforms that support internal employee business functions and external customer contact. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting 3rd level issues impacting the operation of the corporate data and voice infrastructure serving as the subject matter expert for a range of network and application technologies. years of professional experience in network infrastructure. Able to work effectively with limited supervision. Proven track record of working well under pressure, delivering quality results, and meeting task schedule/deadlines while meeting or exceeding business requirements and goals Must demonstrate initiative and ability to self-manage time and tasks with minimal direction Experience in the following areas:
Routing, Managed Switching (Layer 2 and Layer 3), Windows Server Operating Systems, X86 Server hardware, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage Solutions including Cloud Storage Solutions, Server Virtualization, Office 365 Administration, Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy Bonus Tools and Technologies:
Basic SQL Server Knowledge, Load Balancers, Dynamic Routing Protocols, DNS If hired by The Walsh Group, you must be in compliance with your employment location's COVID-19 related requirements, if any.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
