The Compensation Manager will report to our VP Compensation and have significant interaction with top executives and Ownership. The position is responsible for the analysis and administration of compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Ensures project plans are documented. Interviews managers and writes job descriptions. Evaluates jobs to the external market and compares jobs internally. Completes compensation survey submissions and performs market analysis of jobs. Leads job evaluation efforts by researching appropriate survey matches for jobs and analyzing results. Leads the coordination of various compensation programs, including the annual merit and bonus programs. Ensure that the programs are administered consistently and equitably across the organization. Directs documentation of compensation policies and procedures and costs new or existing compensation programs. Creates communication materials for all levels of employees on all compensation-related topics. Assists in the coordination of various compensation programs, including the annual merit and bonus programs. Ensures that the programs are administered consistently and equitably across the organization. Counsels managers and executives by answering questions concerning compensation. Trains managers when needed on compensation-related principles. Creates and produces compensation-related reports from various databases. Creates spreadsheets and supplemental databases with various employee data to be utilized in compensation modeling, costing, administration and analysis. Assesses compensation-related processes and procedures and makes recommendations for advancement. Researches and provides recommendations on compensation trends and compensation compliance-related topics. Provides guidance and training to lower-level compensation professionals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred At least 6 years of experience working in a compensation department is required Experience analyzing and administrating compensation programs is necessary Strong organization and communication skills are required Detail-orientation is needed If hired by The Walsh Group, you must be in compliance with your employment location's COVID-19 related requirements, if any. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
