Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this individual ensures Alliant Credit Union is an employer of choice and that the total rewards and recognition philosophies and programs align with the Company's strategic objectives and competitive practices. This role leverages deep functional expertise and industry knowledge to design and deliver innovative broad-based compensation, benefits and recognition programs, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and implement their solutions. A customer service mindset and collaboration with HR and Business Leaders will be key enablers to delivering strategies that attract, reward and retain our greatest asset - our people. Responsibilities Do you see yourself doing this? Lead the annual compensation planning cycle, providing expert counsel on the design, development and administration of executive, sales, and employee compensation programs, salary structures, and short- and long-term incentives Analyze market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of the compensation, benefits and recognition and plans to ensure they optimize the Company's ability to attract and retain top talent; oversee and collaborate on revisions or new plans that are consistent with the total rewards strategy and philosophy Oversee the annual compensation budgeting process, leading the team on bonus programs, merit cycle, and management of retirement plans Provide strategic direction to the Benefits Manager to effectively evaluate, design, implement, and communicate programs, policies, and initiatives that are in line with Alliant's financial goals and enable the Company to attract, motivate and retain top talent. Ensure the HRBPs have a clear roadmap of requirements for enabling companywide success Direct the development and success of employee benefit programs including open enrollment, leaves of absence, and well-being; lead strategic relationships with the broker and third-party vendors Consult and advise Business Leaders and HRBPs in matters involving job analysis, market-based pricing, impact and equity of compensation, and program administration Work with Chief People Officer to manage all aspects of executive compensation structure and recommendations, including salary increases, short-term and long-term incentives, key metric tracking and other executive policies Direct the job evaluation process and maintenance of consistent and accurate job descriptions across the organization Lead all efforts to support and promote employee recognition programs Review and analyze data to measure effectiveness, impact and engagement of recognition programs and special projects Work closely with HR and Marketing teams to manage and execute civic related programs in conjunction with the organization's employee event activities Projects:
Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives with significant strategic and financial impact Participate in special projects and/or assignments representing the Human Capital Group Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives. Where permitted by applicable law, successful applicants to this position must either have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered (proof of vaccination is required), or be willing to submit a negative COVID-19 test result in advance of each visit to an Alliant facility. Qualifications What makes you a great fit? You'll be a great fit if in addition to the Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience, and you have:

years' experience designing, managing and administering compensation programs, including incentive, commission, structure and executive compensation Experience developing benefits programs, including developing policies and administrative regulations that demonstrate best in class practices and strategies, with 2
years' experience managing others and outside vendors to deliver success Demonstrated experience with salary range development, job analysis, market pricing, data analysis, benchmarking and cost modeling Advanced knowledge of employee benefits and leave of absence policies, practices and applicable laws Experience developing benefits programs, including developing policies and administrative regulations Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and analytics Demonstrated capability in one or more HRIS systems PHR certification preferred Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate vision and gain alignment with key decision makers Open communicator who collaborates with the HR team to enable program success at all levels and in all regions of the business Ability to influence, adapt and lead through ambiguity and change in a dynamic growth environment Strong strategic and analytical mindset; superior problem-solving skills with a focus on simplification Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills When you're happy, we're happy! Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
