City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), the largest community college system in Illinois, is made up of seven colleges and five satellite sites, providing more than 70,000 students each year access to a quality, affordable education. The City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) and Chicago Public Schools (CPS) launched the Chicago Roadmap - a shared, systemic strategy to generate economic mobility for Chicago's young people by building stronger education-to-career pathways and removing barriers to student success. CCC and CPS work collaboratively to enhance supports and close equity gaps in five connected domains:
1) Academic Readiness & Success; 2) Access to High-Quality Programs; 3) Student Advising and Supports; 4) Career Awareness, Exploration, and Experience; and 5) Transparency, Alignment, and Collaboration. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE Reporting to Vice Chancellor- High School Strategy, the Executive Director-Chicago Roadmap Strategic Initiatives is responsible for developing project implementation plans for all strategies of the roadmap in each of the five domains, directing and monitoring implementation against the established timeline, and managing all grants related to the Chicago Roadmap. The Executive Director- Chicago Roadmap Strategic Initiatives provides direct supervision to a team of Post-secondary Navigators and managers charged with supporting graduating high school seniors who intent to enroll at CCC; develops systems and tools to monitor progress and to ensure projects are successfully completed; and collects and analyzes data related to the Chicago Roadmap implementation plans, and uses the data to revise plans as needed. Performs related duties as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Offers strategic direction on the implementation of the Chicago Roadmap project plans in all five domains of the Chicago Roadmap, directs implementation of plans, as well as provides project management for CCC's components of the Chicago Roadmap. Organizes and monitors project work groups for adherence to project goals/timeline, and provides solutions to implementation problems and roadblocks. Evaluates progress on all Roadmap goals on an on-going basis, and strategically develops project revisions as necessary to meet targets. Manages all Chicago Roadmap related grants, including preparing and writing grant submissions, pre- and post- award processes, and the spend-down of grant dollars. Meets with district and college administrators and other stakeholders to review workplans, identify performance metrics, and establish objectives and project timelines to effectively monitor implementation and track project success and completion Leads the strategy design and all work related to supporting transitions from high school, including supervising three Managers- High School Transitions responsible for overseeing a team of Post-secondary Navigators providing guidance and working with CPS students to support their post-secondary readiness and transfer to CCC. Manages data-visualization Tableau dashboard for use by Managers- High School Transitions and Post-secondary Navigators, ensuring access to timely and accurate information about CPS students applying to CCC. Develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analyses to multiple audiences, including executive and senior staff. Designs strategy and supervises Manager- Accessibility Supports to improve enrollment and retention of diverse learners transitioning to CCC. Manages communications relating to Roadmap Project, working with Marketing to update website and prepare public information materials. Evaluate program data measuring student success and achievement of Roadmap objectives and prepares reports. Works closely with external research partners to conduct long term evaluations on the impact of key Roadmap objectives. Facilitates collaborative relationships between various CCC departments and faculty, as well as with CPS working group members. Advises Vice Chancellor - High school strategy and provides requested information to inform long term sustainability of Roadmap initiatives. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports To:

Manager- High Scholl Transitions (District, Transitions, Options); Manager-Accessibility Support QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Public Policy, or a related field. Master's degree preferred Five years of experience, including two years of management experience, in administering educational and/or student support programs for college or university setting, non-profit organizations, or related educational settings Strong project management and facilitation skills Strong experience managing grants including both pre- and post-award processes Experience building dashboards and data displays with Tableau or other data visualization tools strongly preferred Passion for supporting students, especially first-generation college-goers Experience building partnerships with multiple stakeholders Experience in program development, administration, and evaluation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership skills Knowledge of CCC academic programs and pathways, enrollment procedures, financial aid (including FAFSA/verification practices), Early College program, transitional coursework, Star Scholarship program, and related CCC initiatives highly desirable Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) The intent of this job description is to provide a general description of the duties and responsibilities of this position. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
