With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects. POSITION SUMMARY TRC is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineering and Remediation Team Leader for our growing Engineering, Construction & Remediation team in Chicago, Illinois. This position would be part of a very skilled team that works closely with other Project Managers and other technical leads providing technical support for site investigation, due diligence, groundwater monitoring, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Provide project management that results in successful outcomes for the client, the company, and the staff. Creating budgets and maintain them on both the project level and corporate level. Ability to provide outreach to new and existing clients and develop a sustainable book of business. Coach, mentor, and challenge staff. Lead by example, demonstrating the attitudes and behaviors expected from others. Technical knowledge and ability to provide comprehensive project completion to start to finish with support from project staff. Ability to execute engineering best practices on a wide variety of projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation and assessment for infrastructure projects. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, cities/clients, and other public agencies. Perform engineering permitting and evaluation duties associated with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, & battery storage sites). Responsible for the development of permit-level site plans, construction-level site plans, stormwater management design, hydrologic & hydraulic modelling, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), & stormwater drainage reports. Interface with local municipal planning boards/commissions & federal/state agencies. Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneously. Assist Project Managers with proposals, design fee estimates/budgets, schedules, & client relations. Remote working opportunities may be possible for qualified candidates. Support management of medium-to-large, complex tasks to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Assist during proposal development including preparation of work scopes and budgets. Travel regionally and state-wide on short and long-term assignment. Travel can range from 10% to 25% of the position, depending on the time of year and type of project. Collaborate and interact with colleagues, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Other duties and special projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline from an accredited university. (10-20) years of professional experience in environmental consulting industry working on environmental projects including Phase I and II ESAs, soil and groundwater assessments, and site remediation and redevelopment Design experience in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, & battery storage sites), is a plus. Excellent attitude and ability to work well within a team environment. Excellent technical writing, communication, and computer skills. Must have a sense of urgency, be self-motivated, and can prioritize tasks. Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities. Ability to manage time independently and to work effectively on a project team. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license. Ability (with training) and willingness to perform and manage field work (construction oversight, drilling oversight, soil/groundwater sampling, etc.) for over 50% of the position. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
